Everything Snaffla does between a new listing and a closed deal
Snaffla is built around one job: telling you about the right listing quickly, with enough context to act. These are the parts that make that work, and where each plan draws its lines is set out on the pricing page.
Deal alerts across UK marketplaces
Save a search once and Snaffla watches for it on eBay UK, Facebook Marketplace and Gumtree, then sends a push notification when a new listing matches. You are not refreshing tabs, and you are not comparing five different search pages to find out whether something new has appeared.
Alerts arrive as push notifications on the devices where you have turned them on. How often we check for new matches depends on the alert speed included in your plan, so a faster plan means you hear about a listing sooner.
A price valuation on every listing
Every matched listing is compared with comparable listings from our own data and labelled Under Market, At Market or Over Market. The listing page shows the asking price against the comparable prices behind the label, so you can see how the valuation was reached.
When there are not enough comparable listings to be reliable, the listing is labelled No Valuation. We would rather tell you we do not know than give you a confident number with nothing behind it.
Summaries that help you triage quickly
Marketplace descriptions are often long, repetitive or missing the one detail you need. On plans that include it, Snaffla adds a short summary of the listing beside the original description, the advertised price and the valuation, so you can decide in a few seconds whether a listing deserves a message to the seller.
The original description is always still there. The summary is a shortcut, not a replacement.
Searches that match what you actually want
Accuracy matters as much as speed. An alert for the wrong item wastes the time an alert is supposed to save. Each search can be narrowed by:
- Keywords and category.
- Location and a search radius in miles.
- A minimum and maximum price.
- The specific marketplaces to watch.
- For vehicles: make, model, year range and maximum mileage.
Listings you do not want can be blocked so they stay out of your feed, and you can flag listings that look like spam.
Save listings and track price drops
Save a listing to keep it in your watchlist. On plans that include price tracking, a saved listing whose price falls is flagged, and a Price Drops view in your feed collects them in one place. It is useful for listings that are close to worth it but not quite, because sellers who cannot shift an item often reduce it.
Offers and inventory in the same place
On plans that include the offer pipeline, you can draft or send an offer on a listing and follow its status without leaving the app. Once you have bought something, add it to your inventory with what you paid.
When it sells, record the sale price and your stats page shows total profit, items sold and what is still in stock. Items you no longer want to track can be deleted, and they drop out of your stats.
No marketplace accounts to connect
Snaffla never asks for your marketplace logins. Your accounts are not connected, so there is nothing of yours to put at risk. When you find a listing worth pursuing, one tap takes you to the original on the marketplace, and you contact the seller yourself.
Feature questions
Where does the price valuation come from?
From our own data. We collect listings from the marketplaces we cover and compare a new listing's price with the median price of comparable ones. If we don't have enough comparable listings to say anything reliable, we show 'No valuation' instead of guessing.
Which marketplaces does it cover?
Snaffla currently covers eBay UK, Facebook Marketplace and Gumtree. Some plans include fewer marketplaces per search, and each plan limits how many slots can watch Facebook Marketplace or Gumtree, so check the pricing page for what your plan includes. More marketplaces, including Vinted, are coming soon.
Do I need to connect my marketplace accounts?
No. Snaffla never asks for your marketplace logins, and your accounts are never connected. You contact sellers yourself on the marketplace, exactly as you do today.
How are alerts delivered?
As push notifications on the devices where you've turned them on in Settings. Push notifications need a browser that supports them; if yours doesn't, Settings will tell you.
