Terms of Service

The rules for using Snaffla. Please read them before you create an account. Last updated 1 October 2026.

Agreeing to these terms

Snaffla (“we”, “us”) provides the website and app at snaffla.com. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Snaffla.

What Snaffla does

Snaffla watches online marketplaces for new listings that match the searches you save, tells you about them, and compares each price with similar listings so you can judge whether it looks like a good deal. We also give you tools to keep a watchlist of listings and to track the stock you buy and sell.

  • Snaffla is an independent service. We are not part of, endorsed by or connected to eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree or any other marketplace.
  • Listings, prices and photos come from third parties. They can be incomplete, out of date, wrong or removed before you see them, and we cannot guarantee that every matching listing will be found or that an alert will arrive.
  • Price comparisons and summaries are automated estimates to help you decide. They are not a valuation, advice or a promise that an item will resell for a profit.
  • Which marketplaces we cover, and how, can change. Marketplaces marked as coming soon are not available yet.

Your account

  • You must be at least 18 to use the service.
  • Give us accurate details and keep them up to date.
  • Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens on your account, so tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into it.
  • One account is for one person or business. Do not share it or let others use it.

Plans, payment and cancelling

  • Subscription plans are billed monthly or annually, in advance, and renew automatically until you cancel. Annual billing costs ten months of the monthly price.
  • The 7-Day Pass is a single payment for seven days of access. It does not renew.
  • Prices are in pounds sterling and are shown at checkout before you pay. Payments are taken by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see your full card details.
  • Each plan includes a set number of search slots, a number of those that can watch Facebook Marketplace or Gumtree, an alert speed and a lookback window. These are shown on the pricing page and are the limits we apply to your account.
  • Add-on slots are available on the subscription plans. A change to your add-on slots takes effect at your next renewal.
  • If we change a price, the new price applies from your next renewal and we will tell you beforehand.

You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account or by emailing info@snaffla.com. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and it will not renew. We do not refund part-used periods, except where the law requires it.

If you are a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of buying a subscription. If you ask us to start the service straight away, you will pay for the access you have already used in that time, and we will refund the rest. Nothing in these terms takes away your other legal rights.

Fair use and limits

Plans come with a monthly allowance of marketplace checks. If a search or account uses far more than its fair share, we may slow down how often your searches are checked, or ask you to move to a plan that fits your use. We will not charge you more without your agreement.

Using the service properly

You agree not to:

  • Break the law, or use the service to commit fraud or to deceive other people.
  • Copy, scrape or collect data from the service in bulk, or resell, republish or pass on our alerts or data.
  • Try to get around plan limits, or to disrupt, probe or overload the service or our providers.
  • Use another person's account, or share yours.
  • Post anything in the Community area that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, or that you do not have the right to share.

Marketplaces have their own rules. You are responsible for following them when you browse, contact sellers or buy and sell on them.

Your content

You own what you post, such as a Community win, its caption and photo, and your inventory notes. By sharing something in the Community area you let us display it to other signed-in users for as long as it stays posted. You can remove it, and we may remove anything that breaks these terms.

Your buying and selling decisions

We are not a party to any purchase or sale you make with another person. You decide what to buy and sell, and you are responsible for checking the listing, the seller, the item's condition, authenticity and legality, and for staying safe when you meet or pay someone. Snaffla cannot promise you will make a profit.

Keeping the service running

We work to keep Snaffla available and accurate, but we do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. It depends on marketplaces and other providers that we do not control. We may update, change or pause features, and we may add or remove marketplaces, as the service develops.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account if these terms are broken, if the service is misused, or if payment fails and is not put right. If we close an account because of something we did wrong, we will refund the unused part of what you paid.

Our responsibility to you

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. If you are a consumer, your legal rights are not affected.

Beyond that, we are not responsible for losses that come from the marketplaces or other people, or for business losses such as lost profit, lost sales, or a deal you missed or a listing that turned out to be wrong. If we are found to be responsible to you, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem happened.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. We will change the date at the top of this page and tell you about important changes by email or in the app. If you keep using Snafflaafter a change takes effect, you accept the new terms. If you do not agree, you can cancel and delete your account.

Law and questions

These terms are governed by the law of the part of the United Kingdom in which we are established. If you are a consumer, you also keep any rights you have under the law where you live. For any question about these terms, email info@snaffla.com or see our contact page.
